How to visit

Schools are always welcome at the Art on Your Doorstep venues and we aim to do whatever we can to make your time outside the classroom as valuable and enjoyable as possible. We hope, in time, that the list opposite will include many more of the fantastic contemporary art venues we have across Devon.

If you are interested in visiting one of the venues these tips should be helpful.

Visit the venues' websites to find out what is on.

Decide which venue(s) you wish to visit.

Contact the Gallery Educator at the venue, please see specific contacts on the right of this page.

You and your group are welcome to visit the exhibition with or without support from us, but we're here to help you achieve what you want from your visit.  If you feel that the exhibition could be relevant to a specific subject your group are working on, tell us, we can often tailor a tour of the show to emphasise key aspects of your topic. Perhaps including a practical activity, depending on the length of your visit.

We offer advice and information about the venue as well as the exhibition. For example, we can assist in the tailoring of risk assessments.

Where funding is available we can work with you to establish interesting and sometimes challenging projects, bringing together artists and schools, working in tandem with our exhibition programmes.

Please contact each venue individually to find out costs.
