With its location on a Forestry Commission site and remit to explore our changing relationship to Nature through the arts, CCANW is well positioned for linking art with other subjects such as geography, science and citizenship.
This case study is from a Year 8 trip which combined science experiments with the contemporary art practice of social sculpture. Activities included experiments, informal investigations, crafts and engagement with the ‘University of the Trees.’
